Star Performers honored for ‘going beyond’ at Horseshoe
TUNICA — Horseshoe Tunica named its most recent Star Performers, team members nominated by their co-workers, supervisors, and managers. These team members are said to have gone beyond their normal job duties to create an extraordinary experience for guests.

Star Performers each receive 10,000 Total Return Credits,
which can be used to purchase gifts through a team member site. Horseshoe Star Performers are chosen on a monthly basis.

Associates of the Month
Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort employees were honored with Associate of the Month awards. Vuenas Ian De La Puerta, table games dealer, was named Associate
of the Month for April, while Karen Barhonovich, EVS attendant, received the award for May, and Jerry Tatum, EVS attendant, was honored for June. Additionally, Khuong “Jimmy” Tran (right), Chopstx sous chef, received Supervisor of the Quarter honors for the second quarter of the year. Associates received a number of
prizes, including $500, a hotel night stay, restaurant meals, 24 hours of paid time off and special parking by the associate entrance for one month.
Quarterly Winner
WaterView Casino Hotel recognized its Team Member of the Quarter for the second quarter
of 2023. Melvin Ware, housekeeping, is said to exemplify teamwork every day and can often be overheard saying, “I’m here to help.” Ware also shares his enthusiastic assistance with other departments in need. Pictured with WaterView General Manager Penny Bankston, Ware received a designated parking space for 90 days, a Visa cash card and a day off with pay. He is also eligible for the Team Member of the Year award.
