Crewmembers awarded for achievements
BILOXI — Treasure Bay Casino and Hotel recently honored top crewmembers for the first quarter of 2023. Nominated by their peers and supervisors, crewmembers are recognized for their dedication, achievements and commitment.
Steven McLean, bench technician in the slot department, was named Crewmember of the Quarter. He has been with Treasure Bay for 13 years. “Steven has been instrumental in keeping the slot department running,” said Jamie Mitchell, director of casino operations. “Maintaining our machines, covering shifts when there are staffing issues, and just recently stepping up to take on additional duties while the department manager is out are just a few examples of how Steven will go above and beyond in
all things. But that’s just who he is. Dependable, hardworking and willing to help out any way that he can.”

a very capable and skilled worker. She can train anyone to do any task within the department and is always the very first one to step
in to help when there is a need. She is also key in the monumental task of helping the bank close and reopen in the event the company has to temporarily shut down.”

eight years. “Working with Angela is truly a delight,” said Matthew Ulm, player services and hotel manager. “This is echoed time and again by
her coworkers within player services and other departments. Angela is

McLean and Matthews each received a cash prize, engraved trophy, a day off with pay, and a reserved parking space. Both are also eligible for the Crewmember of the Year award.
Aces of PENN winners at Boomtown, Hollywood
GULF COAST — Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast and Boomtown Casino Biloxi recently named its first and second quarter 2023 Aces of PENN winners. Team members are nominated in the areas of guest service, leadership, community involvement, innovation and for going above and beyond.
Winners at Hollywood Casino for the first quarter included Kathy Washington, assistant slot shift manager; Terrance Nehlig, Bogart’s cook II; Debbie Stieffel, RV park attendant; Vito Benigo, building maintenance technician; and Claudia Turner, banquet server. Sandra Jones, pastry chef, received the “Wow that was good” award.
Second quarter winners were Niyokia Lee, executive host; Billie Jo Chalmers, EVS attendant; Zackary Fornoff, table games dealer; Jessica Fricke, buffet food server; and Kem Briscoe, Celebrity Grill cook III.
At Boomtown Casino, Aces of PENN first quarter winners were Christopher Wilson, surveillance operator; Darryl White, security officer; Danielle Le, dealer; Earl Rocco, receiving clerk; and Phillip Mullen, building maintenance technician.
And, second quarter winners were Debbie
