Employees honored during Silver Slipper luncheons

Hotel employees
were honored
during monthly
luncheons at the
Blue Bayou Bar
& Grill. Employees and Supervisors/ Managers of the Month winners and nominees were recognized for April, May and June.
In April, Stefan Hawkins, security officer, was named front-of-house Employee of the Month, and Jessica Redmon, EVS housekeeper, was named back-of-house Employee
of the Month. Christy Depreo, guest service manager, was named Manager of the Month.
Nominees included Nicholas Nichols, surveillance operator; Walter Williams, guest room lead; Jennifer Porter, sportsbook writer; Guilo Thames, slot floor person; Braxton Moore, security assistant shift supervisor; and Al Jenkins, slot shift manager I.
In May, the front-of-house Employee of the Month was Mary Howell, slot floor person, and Christen Riley, human resources employment generalist, was
the back-of-
house Employee
of the Month.
Tim Heaster,
surveillance
supervisor, was
named Manager
of the Month.
May nominees included Luke Hinkkanen, valet/bellman; Stephanie Dillard, PBX reservationist; Jeffrey Haynes, transportation shift supervisor; Kathleen Spillman, table games shift manager I; Brittney Halton, guest room attendant; and Brittany Jackson, security officer.
And for June, Angel Jenkins, table games dealer, was front-of-house Employee of the Month. Dedra Clark, buffet cook I, was named back-of-house Employee of the Month. Stephanie Sutton, security assistant shift supervisor, was honored as Supervisor of the Month.
June nominees included Andy Orzalli, players services manager; Mary Odle, night auditor; Robert Kiser, slot tech II; Colin Byrd, slot floor person; Mark Faciane, table games supervisor; and Annette Bell, Palm Court lead cook.
Nominees and winners received gifts, including cash and gift certificates.

Michael Latoya Mahand McKell
Harrah’s Gulf Coast named its Team Members and Leader of the Month for March, April and May. Michael Mahand, slot tech administrator, was Team Member of the Month, and Latoya McKell, Magnolia House manager, was Leader of the Month for March. In April, David Peterson, engineer II, was Team Member of the Month, and Conrad Hamel, slot operations manager, was named Leader of the Month. And in May, Rob Burge, transportation/bus driver, was Team Member of the Month, and Ellen Erhard, hospitality manager, was Leader of the
Month. Winners and nominees are nominated by fellow team members and property leadership for their accomplishments each month. The winners received a commemorative tumbler and name tag, exclusive parking for a year and Total Return credits that can be redeemed for prizes.
