Generous Crewmembers
The Treasure Bay Charity Committee recently held a special supply drive for Shepherd of the Gulf, a local organization that serves the needs of the homeless and less fortunate on the Gulf Coast. Guests and crewmembers were generous with monetary donations as well as sleeping bags, towels, linens, coats, clothing, shoes, personal hygiene items, pet food and first aid supplies. Pictured at the donation bin with Shepherd of the Gulf Director Lynda Favre are Treasure Bay crewmembers Lydia Sullivan, Michelle Russell, Marilyn Mohler and Jamie Mitchell.
Shuck Cancer Crawfish Boil
Beau Rivage supported the American Cancer Society’s inaugural Shuck Cancer Gulf Coast, donating and preparing an all-you-can-eat crawfish boil fundraiser for honoree Bobby Gillon, director of marketing and
leasing for The District on Howard. The Shuck Cancer campaign helps raise funds to support the transportation programs for cancer patients at Memorial Hospital in
Harrison County and Singing River Hospital in Jackson County. Gillon, who was one of 15 honorees, raised a total of $5,409 for the campaign, which had a fundraising total of $75,000. At the fundraiser, Biloxi Shuckers Crawfish Derby racers Crawford the Mud Bug, Spud and Kernell Cobb stopped by for a photo with Beau Rivage culinary team members Don Wicks, Delvin Thomas, Kristian Wade, Andy Jaehne, Shomari Valux-Smith and Clint Page.
Water Donation
Fitz Casino Tunica donated 30 cases of bottled water to the Tunica County Annual National Night Out, a back-to-school rally for the whole family. Loading the water are Tunica County Sheriff KC Hamp and Fitz Vice President and General Manager Tony Scudiero.
