Pearl River Resort associates treated to makeovers
CHOCTAW —
Several Pearl River Resort and Bok Homa Casino associates
were treated to a new look as winners in
the properties’ Spring Makeover Contest. More than 270 associates entered the contest by completing a form telling why they felt they deserved to win.

At Pearl River Resort, the four shopped in the retail stores, Stogies & Bogeys and Bonnie’s, where they bought new outfits, including shoes, jewelry and purses. They also enjoyed massages,

and three from Bok Homa. The winners received a makeover, complete with spa treatments and a shopping spree, and then dinner with a guest as they revealed their transformation.

The Bok Homa winners spent time
at local retailers in the Laurel and Hattiesburg area, and had dinner in The Loft in downtown Laurel.

Golden Nugget holds employee sweepstakes
BILOXI — Golden Nugget Biloxi
hosted their $5,000 Summer Employee Sweepstakes, June 14 to Aug. 9. Casino leadership put together the bi-weekly employee drawings to recognize and show appreciation for the hard work and dedication of employees.
Team members earned one drawing ticket per shift worked, up to 10 tickets every two weeks. They dropped their tickets in designated prize drums for a chance to win. Fourteen winners, plus the grand-prize winner, were selected every two weeks, for a total of 71 winners.
In addition to a $2,500 cash grand prize, prizes included paid time off, parking passes, $50 resort credits, smart TVs, Yeti coolers and additional cash prizes.
     Happy Anniversary
Hard Rock Biloxi celebrated its 14th anniversary in July. On July 7, the day the Biloxi resort opened in 2007, employees were allowed to wear a Hard Rock T-shirt with jeans, enjoy an upscale shift meal in the buffet, and had the chance to win prizes donated by Hard Rock partners and vendors.
