Luncheons held to honor Silver Slipper employees
HANCOCK COUNTY — Silver Slipper Casino Hotel named Employees and Supervisors/Managers of the Month
for January, February and March during luncheons held in their honor. The property’s Blue Bayou Bar & Grill hosted the luncheons during which nominees and winners were recognized.
In January, Gray Bruer, buffet food server, was named front-of-house Employee of the Month, and Barbara Treadway, housekeeping, was named back-of-house Employee of the Month. Stan Authement, table games shift manager, was named Manager of the Month.
Nominees included Timothy Lister, food and beverage supervisor; J’Londa
Comeaux, EVS supervisor; Cedric Walker, warehouse; and Kyle Hickman, sportsbook.
In February, the front-of-house Employee of the Month was Colin Byrd, promotions, and Amber Surdam, surveillance, was the back- of-house Employee of the Month. James Stanfield, security shift supervisor, was named Supervisor of the Month.

Nominees for February included Kimberly Favre, Player Services; Cheryl Neal, Player Services supervisor; Shannon Tastet, buffet; Chris Powell, food and beverage supervisor; Calvin Greely, EVS; and Sam Sheppard, buffet.
March’s front-of house Employee of the Month was Laura Juneau, buffet. Tracy Mings, support operations, was named back-of- house Employee of the Month. And, Andy Orzalli, Players Services manager, was honored as Supervisor of the Month.
March nominees included Terri
Austin, food and beverage supervisor; Bryan Lowrie, slots; Ivory Plustache, buffet; Guilo Thames, Player Services; and Evette Necaise, hotel.
Nominees and winners each received gifts and prizes, including cash and gift certificates.
