Silver Slipper names monthly nominees, winners
HANCOCK COUNTY — Silver Slipper Casino Hotel held luncheons to honor their top employees in October, November and December. At the luncheons, held in the Blue Bayou Bar & Grill, Employees and Supervisors/ Managers of the Month winners and nominees were recognized.
In October, Patricia Murry, retail clerk, was named front-of-house Employee of the Month, and Walter Dardar, buffet production, was named back-of-house Employee of the Month. Kendra McArthur, publicity and advertising manager, was named Manager of the Month.
Nominees included Eric Lymuel, warehouse; Megan Brown, table games; Joey Amann, food and beverage; Belinda Boone, hotel housekeeping; Kristin Cuevas,
surveillance; and Sarah Rihner, food and beverage.
In November, the front-of- house Employee of the Month was Stacey Lepine, Player Services, and Chad Garling, hotel maintenance, was the back-of-house Employee of the Month. Matthew Price, security assistant shift supervisor, was named Supervisor of the Month.

November nominees included
Betty Gavagnie, cage shift manager; Aristide Garcia, table games dual
rate supervisor; Tommy Sykes, buffet steward; Stephanie Dillard, PBX reservationist; Skylar Ritchie, slot floor person; and Brittany Breaux, security officer.
And for December, Angelica Carter, buffet food server, was front-of-
house Employee of the Month. Raytrisha Brooks, guest room attendant, was named back-of-house Employee of the Month. David Hilbert, events and promotions manager, was honored as Manager of the Month.
December nominees included
Brandi Wyman, Palm Court sous chef; Tyler Echelmeier, food and beverage supervisor; Christina Berry, buffet hostess; Ruthie Fricke, revenue auditor; Quentin Greely, EVS housekeeper; and Sadid Feliciano, security officer.
Nominees and winners each received gifts and prizes, including cash and gift certificates.
Honored at Harrah’s
Harrah’s Gulf Coast named Team Members and Supervisors of the Month. McKinley Warth, surveillance, was Team Member of the Month for October. Jennifer Griffin, slots, pictured with General Manager Jonathan Jones and Charles O’Hara, operations VP, was Supervisor of the Month for October. In November, SJ Washington, food and beverage, was Team Member of the Month, and Robert Rushing, table games, was named Supervisor of the Month. Winners and nominees are nominated by fellow team members and property leadership for their accomplishments each month.
Bally’s Best
Bally’s Vicksburg named its Team Member and Team Leader of the Quarter. For the third quarter of 2022, Briggett Simon (above, pictured with General Manager Derrius Morris), marketing supervisor, was named Team Leader of the Quarter, and Georgia Porter (right), main bank cashier, was named Team
Member of the Quarter. The winners each received a cash award along with special parking, a gift basket and an invitation to the annual awards banquet.
