Honors given at Treasure Bay
BILOXI — Treasure Bay Casino and Hotel recently honored top crewmembers for
the fourth quarter of 2022. Nominated by their peers and supervisors, crewmembers are recognized for their dedication, achievements and commitment.
Melanie LeBlanc, human resources, was named Crewmember of the Quarter. She has been with Treasure Bay five years. “As our benefits representative,” said Kim Dunaway, director of hospitality services, “Mel continues to go above and beyond helping crewmembers and truly making a difference in people’s lives. Having a crewmember
with a great work ethic, awesome attitude, and liked by everyone is rare — but Melanie checks all those boxes, and we are lucky to have her.”
Shonda Holliman, pit manager, was named Supervisor of the Quarter. A 17- year employee at Treasure Bay, Holliman has been a valuable crewmember for many years, said Jamie Mitchell, director of casino operations. “You can rely on Shonda to help with anything on the floor — always with a smile and can-do attitude. We are always looking for people like Shonda to fill our ranks, which is the best compliment I believe you can give to anyone.”

Jones, Fred Moore, Roudy Ryerson, Anna Schwartz, April Shields, Tonya Stallworth and Eric Walker received a cash award and Treasure Bay gift card. LeBlanc and Holliman each received a cash prize, engraved
trophy, a day off with pay, and a reserved parking space. Both are also eligible for the Crewmember of the Year award.

Many Gold Strike employees selected as quarterly Stars
 TUNICA RESORTS — Gold Strike announced its Star
of the SHOW recipients for the fourth quarter of 2022. To be named a Star of the SHOW is to receive the highest form of property-level employee recognition at the casino resort.

and Tiffany Scott, senior wardrobe attendant.

    The word SHOW comes from “smile & greet” (S); “hear the guest story”
(H); “own the experience” (O); and “wow the guest” (W). A committee reviews nominations and selects the Stars of the SHOW, with the selected employees receiving various prizes.
