Employees receive recognition from Beau Rivage
BILOXI — Beau Rivage named its recent Stars of the SHOW. To be named a Star of the SHOW is to receive the highest form of property-level employee recognition at the Biloxi casino resort.
Stars for October included Ashton McCasland, bartender, Topgolf Swing Suite; Heather King, retail sales associate; Glenn Willard, facilities; Mike Williamson, facilities; Lirentay Goudy, cook, Cabana Beach Café; and Krystal Hall, cage cashier.
November Stars were Andy Chinn, facilities; Anthony Fuentes, security; Elisabeth Naff, human resources; Jess Barske, facilities; and Rick Hatt, safety.
For December, Mika Baker, cage; Michael Magandy, advertising; Mattie Caprari, VIP services manager; Da’Onjra Patterson, MGM Air; Jessica Latch, count team; Keisha Colcord, VIP Lounge representative; Ricki Childers, office services; Jean Bovastro, stewarding; Lee McCoy, stewarding; and Andy Jaehne, stewarding.
The word SHOW comes from “smile & greet” (S); “hear the guest story” (H); “own the experience” (O); and “wow the guest” (W). A committee reviews nominations and selects the Stars of the SHOW, with the selected employees receiving various prizes.

Golden Nugget names year’s best at gala
BILOXI — Golden Nugget Biloxi recently held its STAR end-of-year gala honoring top leaders and employees.
Deroxette Odems, lead EDR cook, was awarded Employee
of the Year. She serves food to casino employees every day with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. Odems enjoys providing meals and making people happy through her love of cooking.

Williams were awarded Leaders of the Year. Foster, slots, has more than 20 years of experience in the casino industry. He started at the property

has been at Golden Nugget since 2021. Supervisors credit her hard work and dedication for making her a well-deserved recipient of this award.
The winners each received several prizes.
