Making Thanksgiving Better
In November, WaterView Casino Hotel donated frozen turkeys to several area nonpro t organizations, including The Salvation Army. The turkeys were donated in time to be used for Thanksgiving meals.
Helping Food Banks
IP Casino Resort Spa donated goods to local food banks right before the holidays. A variety of meal staples such as pasta, meat, seafood, vegetables and spices was given to Seashore Mission, Feed My Sheep, and Loaves and Fishes,
all of which work to provide food to people in need across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Each charity received close to $13,000 in goods. The food was used for meals served on the holidays, as well as meals served in the days that followed.

Bicycle Dreams Come True
Trop Greenville employees donated bicycles to the Greenville mayor’s annual toy drive. Twenty- ve bikes were collected at the property and then given to children in need. CASA Kids
Golden Nugget Biloxi partnered with Jackson County CASA to bring Christmas joy to 30 foster children. Employees purchased bicycles, toys, clothing and more to ensure the holiday was extra special this year for the children. “This marked the sixth year we have been involved in this program, which is a favorite among our employees and management teams,” said General Manager Chett Harrison. Feeding Partners
Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi donated more than 300 turkeys to those in need during Thanksgiving. Working with feeding partners Extra Table in Coastal Mississippi, turkeys were distributed to nonpro t groups and food pantries to help feed the hungry in their communities. Beau Rivage’s Community Affairs Manager Missy Dombrowski and head butcher Curmis Broome help representatives from Extra Table distribute the turkeys.
