Hunger Action Month
Ameristar Casino Hotel team members volunteered with the Mississippi Food Network in September, which was Hunger Action Month. The volunteers packed 650 boxes of food for those in need. This food will be distributed to citizens across the state of Mississippi.

Silver Slipper Casino Hotel employees dedicated time recently to make a meaningful impact in their community. Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Bay-Waveland Area, the employees helped build a house for a local family to live in.
Racing For Reading
Hollywood Casino Tunica and 1st Jackpot Casino Tunica employees volunteered in Hernando, Mississippi, at the annual Water Tower 10K race, handing out water to the runners. The event benefited the area’s Excel By 5’s Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which
provides free books to children up to the age of 5. Additionally, the two Penn properties donated funds to help with the special event.
Continued Support
Trop Greenville continues to support those impacted by the March tornadoes in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. The property’s volunteer team packed laundry baskets with canned goods and non-perishable groceries. The baskets were then delivered to those in need in Rolling Fork.
Fisher House Donation
Horseshoe Tunica donated $5,000 to the Fisher House Foundation to aid in the development of the new Fisher House at VA Medical Center in Memphis. The Fisher House will provide a much-needed home away from home for veterans and their families
or caregivers during a hospitalization. Horseshoe team members, including Senior Vice President and General Manager Derrick Madison (second from left), presented the donation to Veterans Affairs Voluntary Services Representative Commandant Edward L. Stutler (left) and U.S. Army Vietnam veteran John Ivy.
