Helping The Hospital
After Bally’s Vicksburg won the recent company-wide Tour de Bally’s well- being challenge, they received $10,000 to donate to an organization of their choice. The prize money was given to the Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, where the money will be used to complete two projects: a classroom for long-term patients and a stem cell research lab. Raising Money For AHA
Hard Rock Biloxi partnered with the American Heart Association to raise money during the month of September. Employees purchased tickets for
a chance to win items, including gift cards and a Sea Wolves gift basket. They also hosted a jeans day where employees could pay to wear blue jeans to work. And, ice cream treats were sold to employees to also raise money. Through all the fundraising events, Hard Rock employees collected $2,500 for the American Heart Association.

Combating Food Insecurity
Beau Rivage’s Veteran’s Employee Networking Group is doing its part to combat food insecurity along the Gulf Coast. The group recently packed dinners for the Meals on Wheels program and helped serve hot meals to those in need at The Lord is My Help food pantry. Since January, Beau Rivage team members have served more than 700 people through these initiatives.
Community Donations
Boomtown Casino Biloxi and sister property Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast continue to make donations each month to various community organizations. In August, Boomtown donated $1,437.25 to the Combat Control Foundation (above), and in September, $1,566.14 was donated to the Wild Acres Hands- On Animal Experience. And Hollywood donated $2,439.07 to the Hancock Health Foundation in August and $2,614.93 to the Pearlington Impact Association in September. (Above) Kyle Widdows (left), vice president of marketing, and General Manager Barry Regula (right), presented the donation to a representative from Combat Control Foundation. The money is raised through guest donations of casino ticket-in, ticket- out vouchers.
Good Shepherds
Ameristar Casino Hotel contributed items to Good Shepherd and its outreach ministry. Donated items included cleaning supplies, baby items, toys and more.
