Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Pinking Out
Bally’s Vicksburg employees showed their support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month by “pinking out” every Friday in October.
Paint Natchez Pink
Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel had custom-made pink T-shirts for all employees to wear on Fridays during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Donation stations were set up at both the hotel and the casino encouraging employees to take part in supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Additionally, employees participated in the city of Natchez’s 6th annual Paint Natchez Pink event (above, left).
Pink Ribbon Hydrangeas
The Beau Rivage atrium displayed a large arrangement of pink hydrangeas during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The flowers were shaped like a pink ribbon to honor breast cancer survivors and those currently fighting the disease. Smaller hydrangea ribbons were also exhibited near the larger display located next to the Roasted Bean seating area.

Trop Greenville surprised employees with a special treat in the break room in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Painting the Promenade Pink
Pearl River Resort and Bok Homa Casino associates donated $14,000 to the Mississippi American Cancer Society. Employees who participated in the annual Paint the Promenade Pink campaign received a breast cancer awareness T-shirt and a special pink message ribbon. To raise public awareness, more than a thousand ribbons were placed on windows in the promenade of the Silver Star Casino and associates wore their awareness T-shirts every Friday in October. Todd Adams, Pearl River Resort communications specialist, and Erica Clemons Moore, Pearl River Resort director of public relations, guest services, internal communications and special projects, presented the check to Stacie Cross (center), senior executive director of the American Cancer Society.
