Bacon And Bourbon
Hollywood Casino Tunica and 1st Jackpot Tunica participated in the recent Memphis Bacon and Bourbon Festival. The food and beverage teams served several items at the outdoor event, including sweet chili-glazed pork belly and chocolate-dipped bacon. The festival, which helps support the Memphis Farmers Market, was sponsored by the Memphis Flyer and held in Shelby Park.
Bluffin’ Ballers
The leadership team at Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel, calling themselves the Bluffin’ Ballers, participated in a kickball tournament organized by the Natchez
Leadership Group. The Natchez casino sponsored the event, which provided a networking opportunity and raised funds to benefit local nonprofit organizations for abused children.
Employees Swing For MGM
Beau Rivage hosted its annual employee golf tournament, Swing for MGM, in August. Thirty teams participated in the event at the resort’s own Fallen Oak. All proceeds from the tournament benefited the MGM Resorts Foundation.
Bowling & Bragging
Hard Rock Biloxi held its employee bowling tournament recently. Teams competed for prizes and bragging rights in the fun-filled event. Coming in first place was Hysparia (right), comprised of Larry Lynchard, John Thomas, Michael Cardwell and Jordan Watkins. The Executives (above) came in third.
