Country Fest at Southland Casino Aug. 24
Performers include Tyler Farr, Royale Lynn, Jay Jones and more
WEST MEMPHIS — Southland Casino Hotel hosts Country Fest on Saturday, Aug. 24. Gates open at noon. Such stars as Tyler Farr, Royale Lynn and Jay Jones perform. The event will also include Frankie Hollie featuring Taylor McManus.
The performances will take place in a giant air-conditioned tent. A DJ will get the party started at noon. At 2 p.m., it’s Frankie Hollie featuring Tylor McManus. Jay Jones is set to perform at 4 p.m. Royale Lynn takes the stage at 6 p.m. and Tyler Farr performs at 8 p.m.
Considered one of the best male vocalists in Country music today, Tyler Farr is the first artist signed to Jason Aldean’s Night Train Records/BBR Music Group.
The Country-rocker, with three No.1 songs to his credit (“Redneck Crazy,” “Whiskey in My Water,” and “A Guy Walks Into a Bar”) broke onto the scene with the 2013 release of his debut album, Redneck Crazy, which landed at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200. Farr’s Platinum-selling title-track “Redneck Crazy” projected Farr forward to celebrate back-to-back No. 1 singles, including his first No. 1 as a songwriter, with his Platinum- certified hit “Whiskey in my Water.” His sophomore album, Suffer In Peace, followed suit, also making its debut in the Top 5 on both the Billboard Top 200 Albums and Billboard Country Albums Charts.

After releasing “true-blue country jam” (Country Swag) “Country As Shit,” featuring multi-genre phenomenon Jelly Roll, Farr is headed back to his rough and rowdy ways with his latest Aldean-produced Rednecks Like Me EP.
Royale Lynn been deemed one of Billboard’s “Emerging Artists.” Her viral song “Six Feet Deep” is sitting at 6 million views on TikTok/Instagram and counting. Released on April 21st, the song debuted at #3 on the American Country iTunes chart. In January 2023, she released “Runs In The Water”, which secured placement on CMT and debuted at #4 on the American Country iTunes chart.
Pulling from influences like Morgan Wallen, Avril Lavigne, Nickelback, and various punk artists, Royale Lynn performs outside of the box that is Country Music. Her unique sound is an intoxicating hybrid of punk attitude with country roots. The country singer has single handedly acquired millions of views across social platforms and been recognized by Billboard as a “A ferocious newcomer with ceiling scraping vocals.”
