The Marshall Tucker Band, from Spartanburg, South Carolina, is famous for infusing blues, country and jazz into an eclectic sound.
The Marshall Tucker Band, fronted to this day by original lead vocalist Doug Gray, was one of the major players in the formation of the Southern rock genre in the ‘70s. The band continues to play to enthusiastic crowds with B.B. Borden on drums; Ryan Ware, bass and vocals; Mar- cus James Henderson, keyboards, sax, flute and vocals; Chris Hicks, guitar and vocals; and Rick Willis, guitar and vocals.
The hits are many, and are timeless. Expect to hear such songs as “Heard It In A Love Song,” “Fire On The Moun- tain,” “Last Of The Singing Cowboys,” “Can’t You See,” “Dream Lover,” “This Ol’ Cowboy” and “It Takes Time.”
“Can’t You See” is one of The Mar- shall Tucker Band’s most iconic songs, released on their debut album in 1973. The song features heartfelt lyrics about heartbreak and longing.
