   Biggest Loser
Donna Nathan is being called a “big loser” at Hard Rock Biloxi, where she works in the cage. Nathan doesn’t mind, though. She was the grand-prize winner of the Biloxi property’s Biggest Loser competition, a health care initiative held over the past several months. Nathan earned $200 for her weight loss totals. Fellow employees Angela McWiliams, Russell Schenck, Neil Hissom, and Tammy Maddox were runners-up, each receiving a $50 gift card to Academy Sports + Outdoors. Altogether, the employees lost a combined total of 138 pounds.
 Beau Rivage Pride
Beau Rivage employees participated in the family friendly Pride Day at Point Cadet in Biloxi. The celebration underscored MGM Resorts’ commitment to the Love Out Loud initiative, promoting inclusivity and community spirit.
  Dealer School Grads
Hollywood and 1st Jackpot casinos conducted a five- week dealer school. Students received paid training and attended the school five days a week for four hours a day. Student courses included blackjack, Mississippi Stud, DJ Wild, Three-Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Receiving training from Mike Kelley (back right), dual rate supervisor at 1st Jackpot,
were Erika Bell, Jacob Dalton Elliott and Christina Kitova. Hollywood and 1st Jackpot have another five-week dealer school scheduled to begin Sept. 9.
