GMSS Donation
Sixteen teams across Beau Rivage, from lifeguards to
poker dealers to executives, participated in the property’s
third annual pickleball tournament raising money for the
MGM Resorts Foundation.
Beau Rivage on lanes,
courts for Foundation
BILOXI — Beau Rivage employees hit the lanes and the
courts, all in an effort to raise money for the MGM Resorts
Foundation. Thirty-five employee teams across different
departments competed at Cypress Lanes in D’Iberville for a
fun-filled bowling tournament, and 16 teams participated in the
third annual pickleball tournament held at The Picklr in Biloxi.
The Beau Bowling tournament raised $3,216 for the MGM
Resorts Foundation. The team from Front Services, Nearly Got
Munsoned, placed first in the competition. The team consisted
of Tres Beck, Matt Hill, Malcolm Hargrove, Ryan Caprari and
Will Wright.
In the pickleball tournament, which raised $865 for the
MGM Resorts Foundation, the team of Aloha Aces, made up
of poker dealers Tony Nguyen and Bobby Vo, finished in first
place. Second place was Steven Mills and Billy Suddeth,
followed by Jason Velez and Jake Voelkel, third place; and
Chris Le and Anthony Bridges, fourth place. Awarded Most
Spirited were Michelle Stevens and Chanta’ Ramsay.
Magnolia Bluffs Casino donated $2,000 to the community
outreach organization Great Motivation Starts with Self,
better known as GMSS. GMSS works to help abused women
and children. Magnolia Bluffs General Manager Eugene
Gibson (center) was part of the team that presented the
donation.
School Supplies
Horseshoe Tunica donated 140 backpacks, 30 mental health
kits and extra supplies for children going back to school served
by Sacred Heart Southern Missions in Northwest Mississippi.

Community Donations
Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort recently
donated to organizations that work
to help those in the community. The
D’Iberville property donated $20,000 to
the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence
(left) to assist in their work supporting
survivors and families with compassion,
safety, and hope, and $5,000 to the
Mississippi Heroes toward their mission
of building ramps that can mean dignity,
independence, and the ability to move
through daily life with greater ease.
