  United In Blue
Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort donated $20,000 to United In Blue, a nonprofit that helps support families of fallen and injured first responders. Scarlet Pearl General Manager LuAnn Pappas (center) and several other property executives presented the check to United In Blue representatives, including Mississippi Rep. Zachary Grady and Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley.
   Beau Bowling For Charity
Beau Rivage employee teams competed in a spirited and fun-filled bowling tournament. The team of Dirty Mike and The Boys (above) came in
first place, but the
real winner was the MGM Resorts
Foundation, which benefited from the $2,950 raised at the tournament.
National Night Out
Fitz Casino Hotel helped sponsor the Tunica County Sheriff’s annual National Night Out event with a $2,000 donation. The National Night Out provides a night out for students along with providing school supplies. Fitz General Manager Tony Scudiero
(center) presented the check to LaMelanie Redmond and Vincent Jones, school resource officers with the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department. PENN Women Fill Backpacks
   Ameristar Casino Hotel’s chapter of PENN Women spent time recently filling backpacks with back-to-school items for the annual Back to School Drive. Each year, Ameristar gives its team members a head start by providing essentials for their school-aged children.
  Austism Awareness
Team members at Horseshoe Tunica came together to support Autism Resources Mid-South, Inc. They walked laps around the property, raising awareness and funds that will impact the lives of individuals and families across the Mid-South.
  Community Spirit
Harlow’s Casino Resort & Spa demonstrated its community spirit with donations to area organizations. In July, President and General Manager Roscoe Green (right) presented checks to the following: $3,000 to the MACE Delta Heritage Blues Festival, $1,000 to the Washington County Economic Alliance, $1,600 to the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County, and $1,500 to the City of Greenville Fire Department.
