STAR Employees STAR Leaders
Golden Nugget names STARs
BILOXI — Golden Nugget Biloxi recently named its STAR Employees of the Month for the second quarter of 2024. Sixteen nominees from several departments were recognized at a special luncheon with the three quarterly winners and three STAR Leaders named.
The second-quarter STAR employees were Alexis Schlitz, security officer; Cindy Phan, Lillie’s server; and Katrina Jahan, Michael Patrick’s server. STAR Leaders were Rose Young, sports book supervisor; Carl Clinton, slot shift manager; and Tiffany Wilson, senior security officer.
Nominees included Hannah Burge, James Nelson, Timonthy Owens, Jr., Robin Adams, Taylor Polk, Alex Sewell, Chance Fricke, Alexis Weaver, Davontay Keys, Derrick Maxwell, David Powe, and Mike Wood.
All winners received a day off with pay, cash, an engraved trophy and a $100 resort gift certificate. All are also eligible to be named the Team Member or Leader of the Year for 2024.

Honors At Harrah’s
Harrah’s Gulf Coast named its Team Members and
Manager of the Month for April and May. For April, Shelly Sharp, sportsbook, was named Team Member of the Month, and Karen Pringle, surveillance, was named Team Leader of the Month. And in May, Jared Seymour, bell stand, was named Team Member of the Month, and Jami Garrigan (above with General Manager Jonathan Jones), casino cage, was Team Leader of the Month. The winners received gifts and Total Return credits that can be redeemed for prizes.
