TUNICA — Horseshoe Tunica named its most recent Star Performers, team members nominated by their co-workers, supervisors, and managers. These team members are said to have gone beyond their normal job duties to create an extraordinary experience for guests.
Receiving Star Performer recognition were Tyronda Harris, EVS supervisor; Shawana Seals, operations service
leader; Tyrone Hawkins, casino marketing coordinator; Sheryl Wright, slot supervisor; Sylvia Clinton and Jennifer Eggerud, table games; Tracy Armstrong, slot attendant; Linda Woods, slot tech; Timeka Brown, host cashier; Myla Perry, lead barista; Tanasia Price, banquets server; Brittney Taylor and Latonya Reed, hotel agent;
and Willie Tinner, Terry Gordon, Charles Smith, Alexander Walker and Sharunda Barnes, security.
Star Performers each receive 10,000 Total Return Credits, which can be used to purchase gifts through a team member site. The Star Performers are chosen monthly.

Top workers, Pearl Leaders lauded in D’Iberville
D’IBERVILLE — Several Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort employees were honored with awards over the summer.
Phuong Pham, baker, was named Associate of the Month for April. Darryl Brister, dealer, was named Associate of the Month for May. And, Rodney Moore, Scarlet’s Steaks & Seafood cook,

was named Associate of the Month for June.
Supervisors of the Quarter were Christopher Etchison, maintenance shift supervisor, and Gerry Fuller, beverage supervisor.
Associates received prizes, including $500, a hotel stay, meals, 24 hours of paid time off and special parkin for one month.

Additionally, Cathy Welch, security officer, was the Pearl Card Leader of the Month for May; Jolinarh Letegio, slot attendant, earned the Pearl Card Leader of the Month for June; and Glenda Carter, security officer, was Pearl Card Leader of the Month for July. They each received VIP parking for one month.
