Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Pinktober at Hard Rock
During October, Hard Rock Biloxi employees raised money for breast cancer awareness
by selling Pinktober shirts and hosting an employee bowling tournament. This year commemorates 25 years that Hard Rock International has supported breast cancer research and awareness. All proceeds from Pinktober events will be donated to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

Fore The Cure
WaterView Casino Hotel held its second annual Putting Fore the Cure Breast Cancer Benefit Golf Tournament in October. The event, held
at the Vicksburg Country Club, raised more than $25,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. Organizers expressed thanks to all the sponsors, donors and teams for helping to make the event possible.
In The Pink
Team members at Bally’s Vicksburg were in the pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The employees wore pink T-shirts on the second and third Fridays in October to help spread awareness of the disease.
Full Pink Mode
Island View Casino Resort was in full pink mode
during October in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The resort featured blackjack tables with pink felt, and players could purchase pink cupcakes with pink-and-white sprinkles at the Sweet Stop. Special vodka cocktails were also available at Prime Cut. Called “Real Men Wear Pink,” the cocktail was named in honor of Carter’s Champions.
