Island View has weeklong 18th anniversary celebration
GULFPORT — Island View Casino Resort recently marked its 18th anniversary with an unforgettable week
of celebrations that
brought together team members at the resort. The Island View crew members wore a special anniversary T-shirt to mark the occasion.
Kicking off the
week was the two-day
annual Employee Slot
Tournament. Team
members came together
to enjoy games, laughter,
and friendly competition, creating a lively atmosphere of camaraderie. With prizes, including gift cards, cash and even PTO days up for grabs for the top 100 winners,
the energy was high. Colleagues cheered each other on, making it a true celebration
of teamwork.
There was also a big
turnout for a talent show that highlighted Island View talent. The energy in the room was electric as Terrick Derks, The Diner, took home first place; Sylvia Boose, hotel housekeeping,
took second; and Nandi McDowell, Carter Green Steakhouse, won third place.
The festivities continued with a ’70s-themed costume day and an anniversary meal in the employee dining room.

BILOXI — More than 30 team members were recognized at Harrah’s Gulf Coast for having 30 years at the Biloxi property. Team members come from all departments

and work in a variety of jobs, including bartenders, servers, dealers, security officers, supervisors and managers.
Honored for their three decades were Amy Wagner, Brenda Williams, Bryan Quinn, Cathy Wooten, Chin Nguyen, Thuyen Tran, Chriseta Landry, Conrad Hamel, Cynthia Ramsey, David Cook, De Nguyen, Derrell “Sean” Dedeaux, Eric “Big E” Conner, Fred Hudson, Jennifer Griffin, Katrina Trost, Lendora Woods, and Mary Byrd.
Additional 30-year team members include Nancy Johnson, Nhiem Pham, Rebecca Keslar, Ricky May, Robert Brown, Rose Rodgers, Steven Shackley, Patricia “Sue” Parnes, Tanachai “Mr.
