GULF COAST — Casino chefs have put their hearts into creating some very special menus for Valentine’s
Day. From buffets to fine
dining, steaks and seafood,
there is something tasty for
everyone to love among
the holiday offerings. And
don’t forget the sweet
desserts. While most of
these specials are offered on
Valentine’s Day, be sure to
check the dates of the deals,
as some may be offered on
more than one day.
And, one more friendly
reminder: In most cases, reservations are necessary and should be made soon. Valentine’s Day is Friday, Feb. 14.
Scarlet Pearl Casino
Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort has Valentine’s Day meal specials at two restaurants. In Scarlet’s Steaks & Seafood, enjoy a four- course meal ($120) starting with chilled Gulf
seafood featuring Champagne-poached Gulf shrimp and marinated crab claws served with house cocktail sauce and Creole remoulade. Oysters Rockefeller are served for
the second course.
Choose the entrée
between panko-crusted halibut with butter-poached lobster meat with sautéed spinach, mushrooms and oven-roasted heirloom tomatoes in a citrus beurre blanc or a 6-oz. center cut filet of beef with pan-seared foie gras, sautéed spinach
and mushrooms and truffled potato puree. Dessert is strawberries
and cream cheesecake.
