DEEPENING THE IMPACT:
EMPOWERING EVERY PATH TO EXCELLENCE
TMCF made history in its 36th year, expanding its membership to include historically Black community colleges (HBCCs). We are proud to represent the institutions we’ve added, alongside our unwavering commitment to the nation’s publicly supported historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and predominantly Black institutions (PBIs). Doing so expands pathways to a more equitable future for students across diverse sectors.
This year also included our second-ever capacity building mission to Israel. TMCF President & CEO Dr. Harry L. Williams led the delegation comprised of presidents and chancellors from five HBCUs. The trip’s aim was to forge relationships with Israeli institutions of higher learning, advance TMCF member school strategic plan goals of expanding student study abroad and research programs, and faculty research and exchange opportunities.
It’s also the seventh consecutive year TMCF has earned a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, the leading non-profit accountability group. Achieving this status signals to current and prospective partners that we are an organization to be trusted and strives to make an impact for those we advocate for.
We’re proud of the strides we’ve made this year and look forward to doing even greater things in 2024.
