TMCF MEMBER SCHOOLS Support for our member schools continued to thrive in 2022, directly or through collaborative initiatives.
A key event this year – one that will impact all HBCUs for years to come – was the launch of the HBCU Transformation Project. This landmark collaboration between the United Negro College Fund (UNCF),
TMCF, and Partnership for Education Advancement (Ed Advancement) was created to drive tangible, long- term progress across our country’s HBCUs and impact the Black economy. Objectives of the project include increasing HBCU health and sustainability, improving student retention outcomes and graduation rates, expanding enrollment, and increasing capacity building with faculty and staff.
President & CEO Dr. Harry L. Williams represents TMCF and is part of the HBCU Transformation Project’s leadership team. Blue Meridian Partners, a pioneering philanthropic model, generously provided $60 million of initial transform project funding.
