 A YEAR IN REVIEW:
MILESTONES
FOR STUDENTS,
PARTNERS,
DONORS, AND
EMPLOYEES
This annual report would not be complete without shedding light on the most important people to TMCF, and their impact for this year.
STUDENTS
In 2022, growth in TMCF scholarships awarded was momentous with more than $24 million awarded, an 82% increase over last year. This included students who qualified for our training programs, those who received one of our scholarships, and those who officially entered the workforce.
STRATEGIC PARTNERS
We were very fortunate to welcome 59 new strategic partners to our organization. Our new partners pledged more than $6.4 million in support, increasing revenue from the previous year by $10.7 million, with an increase of 15% in partner funding and involvement.
DONORS
We are happy to report that 230 corporations donated $77.9 million and 3,652 individual donors and foundations contributed $1.6 million to TMCF in 2022, despite our nation feeling the remnants of the pandemic.
EMPLOYEES
Although TMCF is focused on serving the Black college community, the employees who drive us to greatness each day truly represent equal opportunity in the most literal sense. Our superb staff is comprised of women and men from various backgrounds, ethnicities and colors.
At the end of this year, and taking into account all staff, including our management and leadership teams, TMCF employed a total of 83 employees in full-time positions. Of those, 71 employees (85.54%) were African American, five employees (6.02%) were Latino or Hispanic, and three employees (3.61%) were multiracial. Four employees were white (4.82%).
