Dr. Karen Crews
A lifelong passion for helping others, combined with
encouragement from her parents,
inspired Dr. Karen Crews to pursue dentistry.
Throughout her career, Crews earned recognition
for excellence in teaching, research, and leadership
while becoming a respected advocate for oral cancer
awareness and tobacco cessation. She remains passionate
about educating patients and providing dental care for
individuals with special needs.
Crews said her greatest accomplishment has always
been her family. Outside the office, she and her
husband, Bill, enjoy spending time on the water,
exploring the barrier islands, and making memories
with their children and six grandchildren.
Dr. Abigail Roddy
Dr. Abigail Roddy joined Beach View Family
Dental after graduating from Indiana University
School of Dentistry in May and relocating to the
Gulf Coast to begin her career.
Inspired by her mother, who has worked in a
dental office for more than 30 years, Roddy said
she knew from an early age that dentistry was
the profession she wanted to pursue. She enjoys
building relationships with patients while helping
them achieve healthy, confident smiles.
When she’s not in the office, Roddy can usually be
found with a good book or enjoying the outdoors as
she explores everything the Coast has to offer.
