  There have been some changes at the Women’s Resource Center (WRC). “We are expanding our center to include a brand new Education and Resource building on our current property,” Director Susan K. Jones says. “The Empowered Parenting Program is so well attended that we need more space. The new building will have classrooms for large groups and small.”
The Center also has more staff this year including three full time employees and four part-time, plus 15 volunteers a week. The Women’s Resource Center was founded in 2003 with a

and that we don’t care about the mother and father,” Jones says. “At WRC we are mentoring whole families each week from the time of confirmed pregnancy until the child is two years old.”
The WRC is seeing more women wanting information about the abortion pill, which is ordered by mail. “The pills are sent to their homes after answering a few quick questions and paying a fee. The abortions are performed at home by themselves without any medical oversight. At WRC, we give them answers to all
of their questions and hopefully help them choose life for their unborn babies.”
