Thacker Mountain Radio Hour Live 5:30-8 p.m.
The Thacker Mountain Radio Hour returns to the Gulf Coast for a very special show at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art. Join Lynn Meadows Discovery Center for a special community celebration featuring the unveiling of a quilt created by children from across the Gulf Coast. The evening will feature the official community quilt unveiling, the Mississippi Arts Commission America250 Public Art Exhibit, a WINGS Performing Arts performance, family- friendly activities, and recognition of the local quilters and community partners who helped bring these collaborative projects to life.

Create Coil Pot Critters with Molly Shea 12-2 p.m.
In this playful clay workshop, students will learn how to build a coil pot by hand and transform it into a one-of-a-kind critter using sculptural details, textures, and colorful underglazes. Finished pieces will be fired and available for pickup two weeks later.
