Taylor A. Pilger
Taylor A. Pilger is a real estate closing attorney at Pilger Title Company. She joined Pilger Title Company in 2020 after graduating from Mississippi College School of Law, Summa Cum Laude and first in her class. Before attending law school, she received her undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University in 2015 and is a 2011 graduate of St. Patrick Catholic High School.
“My family has always been a driving force in any decisions or directions I take in life,” says Pilger. “But it was my brother David Pilger who inspired me to go to law school and, more importantly, join him at Pilger Title Company and practice real estate law. His dedication to the Gulf Coast and the relationships he’s cultivated over those years have set a standard that I aspire to live up to as I work alongside him and continue to grow Pilger Title Company.”
Pilger loves working with home buyers, sellers, and investors all along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. “I grew up in Ocean Springs, and I love being a part of the continued growth and new development all along the Gulf Coast,” she says.
Her advice to young female entrepreneurs is to “find a mentor who embodies who you want to be in five-plus years. I feel that some people think that entrepreneurs have to do it all on their own, but in reality asking for help and guidance from those who have done it before can be the smartest thing you can do (that’s working smarter, not harder).”
Pilger is licensed to practice law in Mississippi and Alabama and enjoys teaching continuing education courses to Realtors all along the Gulf Coast, especially her highly regarded Contract Law class.
