Amber Lord is the owner of Salon Rouge as well as Blue Dog Bistro with her husband, Joshua Lord. She has been in the industry for 16 years, and this April celebrated 15 years of Salon Rouge being in business.
Before the beauty industry, Lord says that working jobs in different areas made her realize that doing something she loved was a must in choosing a career. “That made it easy, because my only interests were fashion, hair and makeup. So here I am, 16 years later, and loving this industry more than I thought I ever could!” said Amber. “I believe this is one of the most fulfilling jobs in the world and I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
Lord travels all over the country, taking classes and training to further her education to be the best at what she does. She specializes in Balayage, Lived-in Color,
Color Corrections, Cutting, Hair Extensions, Makeup, and Special Occasion Styling. Her staff are also highly trained and educated stylists specializing in many services, including various methods of hair extensions, all hair coloring services, eyelash extensions and lifts, eyebrow lamination and tinting, makeup applications, special occasion styling, airbrush spray tanning, and much more.
“We pretty much have you covered for all of your beauty needs!” she says. “Our goal at Salon Rouge is to give our clients not only the best services in the industry, but for it to also be in an inviting and comfortable atmosphere with top notch customer service.”
Outside of work, Lord enjoys traveling, riding jet skis, and spending time with her family, friends, husband, and their four rescued pitbull children.
