A business that’s been successful for 69 years is doing something right. A family business, Luckies Furniture Warehouse opened its doors in Biloxi in 1954. Amber Guess grew up in the business and because of that was inspired to continue at Luckies.
She feels lucky to work with such a great team. “We work hard every day to make sure our customers are happy,” she explains. “We continue to offer the best furniture buying experience and customer service on the Gulf Coast.”
Shopping at Luckies is a Coast Tradition, offering selection, style, comfort, and most importantly
an experienced staff. We have been serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1954 and we continue to look forward to serving many years to come..
My favorite part of my job is interacting with our customers; they are the heart of what we do. There is nothing like the feeling of completing a project that meets our customers everyday needs, all while prioritizing the use of space and its functionality.
Guess loves being able to support other woman- owned businesses. She believes that it brings value to society, economic and social benefits, and helps promote work-life balance.
Having been born and raised in Biloxi, and living there most of her life, Guess knows the Coast pretty well.
Guess’s advice to other young, female entrepreneurs is: “Believe in yourself, take risks, and have fun in what you do.”
