Anna Stuckey is a military wife and found it hard to find a job when she was on the move every couple of years. While her husband was deployed, she began to do bungee fitness in her hometown. “I found comfort in bungee fitness,” she says. “It kept me busy, active, and healthy.”
When she found out she’d be moving back to the Coast, everyone asked her what she would do. “I had no clue! It’s hard to afford being a stay-at-home mom, but it’s also hard to afford daycare with part-time jobs,” Stuckey says. “I was offered the opportunity to be certified to teach bungee fitness. It was a huge leap of faith.”
Now, Stuckey loves helping others achieve their goals and making them feel good about themselves. “I love my little studio!”

Associated Food Equipment & Supplies General Manager Gretchen Chiasson credits her family and the company’s team with being her inspiration to continue the 40-year-old business’ success.
“My greatest success in business is the blessing of being a part of the Associated team for almost 24 years and watching it grow,” she says. “We now have three locations, including two in Louisiana and our corporate headquarters in Gulfport.”
The biggest impact on her career happened in February 2018 when her uncle died unexpectedly. They had worked side by side for more than 22 years. “He taught me so much about work and life,” she recalls. “I could not have imagined continuing this path without him, but I knew he had groomed me to follow in his footsteps and I wanted to make him proud. With his guidance and the support of our current owner, Otto Abad, I strive everyday to continue that legacy.”
Noting that no two days are the same, Chiasson says the relationships she has built with customers is what she loves most about her work.
She feels blessed that her huge family all live on the Gulf Coast. They love to eat out and spend time together enjoying movies, hitting the beach or being by the pool.
