Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career?
We have both always loved to create beautiful and eclectic decor for our homes as well as for our friends and family. We have always been thrilled
to be able to give our advice and help when asked by friends to plan and decorate everything from their homes, doors, parties, events and more! When the opportunity presented itself to actually open a business doing what we truly love, we were beyond excited!
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs:
Never ever give up! If you have a dream, go for
it! But also be prepared: owning and operating a business is amazingly rewarding, but it is hard work! Always rely on God to give you the strength to push forward, even when things may sometimes seem impossible.
What’s something interesting about you that not many people know?
Jeanne won a wreath making contest way back in 1992 and was published in The Great Wreath Book by Woman’s Day magazine! Before starting Sadie Jane’s, Ashley was a studio camera operator and then a weekend reporter for WLOX-TV.
What moment from your life made the biggest impact on your career?
We both made the decision to leave our full time jobs in 2010 so we could fully commit and put
our all into building Sadie Jane’s. When we took that leap of faith and fully trusted God to provide financially and to grow our business, His blessings were truly miraculous! When you fully put your trust in Him and know and believe that He has provided an opportunity that you have prayed for for so
long, you have to fully commit and never look back. Just look to Him, be grateful, and he will grant the desires of your heart.
