It’s important to support other woman-owned businesses because: Women have so many responsibilities and expectations, it’s critical that we create an environment where they are encouraged to succeed both professionally and personally.
Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career?
When my youngest child left for college, it was time for
me to tackle a new challenge. Real Estate is a good fit for me because it allows me to continue to pursue my other passion — teaching. I teach eighth grade English at Biloxi Junior High.
Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career?
My family and children inspired me to pursue my dreams in Real Estate.
Advice I would give
to young female entrepreneurs:
Don’t give up. Starting your own business is never easy and it takes time to get where you want to be. Just keep pushing forward no matter how many negatives stand in your way. Use those negative situations to help as you continue to strive for what you want.

Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career? I had a very close friend through high school and his mom was
a Realtor. I always admired her and her career success.
What I like best about what Idois:
I am a people person. I love that I get to talk with people and help them with a very important decision in their life.
What’s something interesting about you that not many people know?
I went to college on singing scholarship. I absolutely love to sing.
Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career?
I always wanted a career where I could directly impact my success – either by the work I put into it or by the relationships I created. Real estate is the perfect career for that!
What I like best about what Idois:
I most enjoy making new friends and business partners. I have the privilege of getting to know people quite well through searching for or selling their homes and navigating all the steps to closing.
