W’S LEADERS IN
“Women studying business are tomorrow’s leaders in business and industry. Whether they are seeking employment as an office manager, payroll accountant, human resource manager, or planning to open their own business, MGCCC’s business programs are a great starting point for women,” explains Dean of Teaching & Learning at the Perkinston Campus, Dr. Bobby Ghosal.
It’s obvious that the women of the Gulf Coast agree. According to Dr. Adam Swanson, associate vice president, institutional research & effectiveness, the number of women in the college’s business programs is consistently higher than the number of students who are men. In the Academic School of Business Law Hospitality & Culinary, 54 percent of students are female while 46 percent are male. Students pursuing Business and Marketing Management Technology are 68 percent female and 32 percent male. For the Business Management Technology program, 70 percent of students are female and 30 percent are male.
