They say a reader lives a thousand lives, but not many get to make their passion into a career. Alexis Lampley is one of the lucky few.
Lampley owns – along with her husband, Josh, who handles nances and logistics – Nerdy Ink, an online-based shop that produces hand-lettered and illustrated book merchandise.
Nerdy Ink began life as a subscription box after Lampley left her longtime job as a graphic designer. “I had been really into bookish subscription boxes... So when my husband pitched the idea of creating our own box, I was really intrigued,” she said. Each
month, the box o ered a mix of prints, bookmarks, and stickers – all designed by Lampley and packed in their home.
