April Cummins is realtor with NextHome Simplicity, a company that prides itself on its approach to real estate, which included the most up-to-date technology and targeted advertising and marketing strategies. “These factors give me the opportunity to work ef ciently for my clients,” says Cummins. “I love what I do and I want my clients to know that I am there for them anytime they need me, day or night.”
Cummins is equally dedicated to all of her clients, but rst-time homebuyers have a special place in her heart. “They are so excited, and just plain fun to work with,” she said. “Once they nd ‘the one,’ their excitement makes me happy to know that I was a part of the process.”
For women looking for a career as ful lling as hers has been, Cummins says not to waste time doing something they aren’t passionate about. “Pursue your dream and go after it with everything you’ve got,” she says. “If you’re truly passionate about it, your job won’t feel like a job. I work every day, but I love what I do and that’s the difference.”
The most important things to Cummins outside of her career are her family and her faith. “My kids are my world,” she says. “I cherish watching them grow into the young adults they are becoming. I love being their mom, and because of my job, I am able to be there for them at their games, practices and plays. It’s so rewarding
for me.”
