Creativity and innovation. It’s easy to follow the trends in the fashion industry but it’s hard to be a trend setter. I enjoy taking the risk of making a statement by offering something new and exciting for shoppers in South Mississippi!
My inspiration comes from...My family, friends, the Lord, former teachers, former employers and all those who believed in me along the journey to opening The Sequin Siren. Thank you for your constant love and support; it’s the fuel that keeps me going!
In ve years I would like to see my business...Dive into the ever growing online
market. In the United States, 10 percent of shoppers prefer online verses brick and mortar shops as per the information provided during my classes at the Small Business Development Center.
The best advice I’ve ever received: Never stop working towards your dreams and that you are the only obstacle standing in your way to success.
I chose this particular business because...I have a degree in business
administration with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi and have nine years experience in retail
sales and customer service. I enjoy helping women express themselves through fashion and helping them feel beautiful in the skin they are in.
