What sets you apart from others in your eld: I carry a great variety of
gifts, art, and home decor at many price points. I genuinely want everyone to shop
at Layton’s to support our local artists as opposed to shopping the big corporations all of the time. I have over eighty artists and companies that t the store motto of “Local, Regional and USA made”.
What I like best about what I do:
Meeting all of our customers, both locals and tourists. I thrive on connecting with them on a personal level and helping them nd gifts or personal treasures that they love. Hearing over and over, “You always have the neatest stuff, and we always make sure we come here” certainly never gets old.
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs: Come see me and bring two cups of coffee, notepad, and a pen.
My greatest successes have been: My two children, Cole and Cady Layton. They will always be my biggest accomplishment. The rest is just extra and I’m super thankful everyday!
