My greatest business strengths are: As the owner of bijoubel and Joan Vass off Broadway, it’s very rewarding when I am given the opportunity to help mentor, mold,
and motivate others. My merchandising experience is my greatest business strength. Visual marketing is a skill used to feature inventory in a way to draw customers into cherishing items they might not be interested in otherwise.
My 5 year development strategy: To launch the expansion of a second location along the Gulf Coast for both bijoubel and Joan Vass off Broadway.
The best advice I’ve ever received:
Often times, I’m reminded of a cliché I heard back in my “Wal-Mart days” by a well respected regional manager who said, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” This advice was well received then at the start of my management career and still rings true today as a small business owner.
I chose this particular business because:
I chose to build a boutique style business due partly to my retail experience, but mainly because I believe the Lord has a plan for each of us. To touch people’s lives through owning bijoubel and Joan Vass off Broadway is my simple plan.
I have seen His hand at work in my professional life since day one of my retail journey in 1988. Now, 30 years later,
I still have the same passion and drive to excel and meet the needs of others on a daily basis.
My inspiration comes from: My inspiration comes from
the Lord! I know He has given me all the tools needed throughout my corporate retail career providing the strength and integrity to be successful as the owner of bijoubel and Joan Vass off Broadway. All my creative thoughts, passion for career and love of people come from Him.
