It’s a fact that women are busy. So what do they do to relax? Two Coast professionals, who are also mothers, tell us how they do it.
Realty, Andrea Jenkins is a multi-million- dollar top producing agent and a real estate investor. “I guess you can say
I really love real estate,” she
says. “ I have always known I was meant to sell houses.”
However, she has an even more important role as the single mom of two boys, Landon, 14, and Carson, 11. “My passion in life is being a mom. I love my two nuggets more than life itself and I have to be very involved with them,” she said. “It’s none
of this ‘let someone else take them type of stuff.’ I’m there for every moment.”
Jenkins affirms that she’s not missing anything in their lives and that her career comes second to them. “But
I work really hard to have a good balance, super hard.”
In the just-for-me category,
Jenkins is a member of the
Mardi Gras Krewe of Hera
and was a maid in last year’s
court and is a group leader.
She takes small trips to
refresh her soul. “That really
helps me feel renewed, although trips to the spa and shopping aren’t so bad for relaxation either,” Jenkins said. “My number one way
my son, Landon. He is at that age where we can sit and have conversations about
anything. I’m really enjoying that and it warms my soul more than anything.”
Heisi Roberts has been the business administrator at Roberts Wealth Management for five
years where her main objective
is to provide a smooth, speedy transition for all incoming clients by completing and verifying
all pending transactions. “My processes and procedures
have aided Roberts Wealth Management in significant growth each year and ensures incoming clients a smooth transition into retirement,” she said.
Roberts, a native of Brazil, is happy living in Mississippi with her husband, Paul Roberts III,
and their children. “I have three children and four dogs to keep me busy,” she says. “As all women know, we have to know how to manage our time between work, home and family.”
For relaxation, she likes to travel to Brazil to visit family as well
as travel to other countries and
Florida beaches. “Going on the boat with my family and playing with our dogs are also fun,” she added.
