David said, “Everyone says we all three sound alike New York City. “It’s so much fun, just the two of us on the phone. My own husband usually can’t figure out doing what we love to do and having that bonding
who he’s talking to. My mom has red hair and beautiful green eyes so I don’t look like her, just short like her. I look like my dad and the Krohn family, dark hair and dark eyes.”
For mother and daughter Jackie Orgler and McKay Dockery looking alike helps foster a closeness. “McKay says she’s told she looks like me especially when we’re all dressed up,” Orgler said. “Some people ask ‘is that your mom or your sister?’ I just laugh and I say yeah, it’s my sister. I absolutely love being told I look like McKay; for one, she is beautiful, and my kids are my
time,” Orgler said.
Another mother-daughter team who look alike and
work together is Kati Vogt and Gabrielle Mosher.
They own eDeposition, a court reporting service. “I’m incredibly flattered when people say we look more
like sisters than mother and daughter,” Vogt says. “It certainly puts a little more bounce in my step for the rest of the day.”
Mosher says that’s a huge compliment for her too. “I think my mom is beautiful, so it’s always nice to hear that I favor her. When I was younger, everyone said I
heart so it warms my heart completely in every way.” McKay, a junior at Biloxi High School, is happy when
people tell her she looks like her mom because they are
looked exactly like my dad, but as I entered my teenage years, I began to look more like my mom.”
They’re told the similarities include talking and
so close. “She is my friend and my mom, but she says she is my mom first then my friend,” she said. “My mom and I do resemble each other and have been told we
walking alike and even that they have the same facial expressions.
These two have no problem working together and
have the same smile. She is the epitome of what a mom should be so it’s an honor to be told I look like her in any way.”
This mother-daughter duo go to country music concerts and travel together. They try to take an annual trip to
Vogt likes watching her daughter’s progress as a court reporter. Mosher feels her mom is a great mentor and role model. “She’s always there to guide me when I need it and partner with me on certain projects,” she said.
