American Factory Direct Furniture
9064 County Farm Rd. Long Beach, MS 228.452.5950
American Factory Direct Furniture offers a beautiful showroom design and a friendly staff, led by Bob and Billie Comeaux, who began their marriage
of ideas and talent when her mother introduced them.
Their honeymoon was spent at the furniture market in North Carolina.
“It has been furniture ever since. Our passion for the business and our love for God have been the root of our success,” Billie says.
They expanded their Mandeville location with stores in Mississippi and Baton Rouge and Clearance Centers in
Covington, LA and Long Beach, MS. Their state-of-the-art Distribution Center enables them to efficiently compete with larger national companies and have the buying power to offer the lowest prices.
They offer complimentary in-home design consultation, a 60-day price guarantee and three designers available for appointments.
“One of our greatest blessings is having two of our three children in the business. Our daughter, Grace C. Piro, CFO, plays a vital role,” Billie said. “Our son, David Comeaux, COO, is another integral part of the business, handling operation and
inventory management. My husband, Robert, is a wonderful merchandiser who insures our prices stay competitive. Our eldest son, Robert III, is a minister in Arizona and is our prayer warrior.”
Billie is the creative force, creating the ambiance of the business with meticulous showroom design.
Supporting local charities, such as Habitat for Humanity, the Samaritan Center and sponsoring local schools, churches and organizations are ways the company gives back, always trying to respond when a need is presented.
Rhonda Clark Boyd
What sets you apart from others in
the same field? I really care about my customers and customer service is a priority for me. To help my customers maintain good health, I take extra steps to assist them with their medical needs which include one-on-one review of patient profiles to make sure they are taking their medication as prescribed and are compliant, personal courtesy calls as a friendly reminder that their prescriptions are ready, as well as free home delivery and extended hours of operation if necessary. I also try to give back by taking part in medical missions, which is a passion of mine. By doing so, it gets needed medication to individuals who have very limited medical care.
My strengths are: compassion,
friendliness, driven and passionate about my profession.
One lesson I learned along the way:
Never be afraid to learn something new.
In my wildest dreams, I see myself as:
I am living my dream by serving my community in my home town.
Women who have inspired me are:
My mother, Gloria Clark, who was a strong, Christian woman and worked by my father’s side in the pharmacy doing whatever needed to be done to make it a prosperous, welcoming environment. She always encouraged me to reach for my dreams, strive for my goals in life, and use my God-given talents and gifts to help others.
