Tell Us About The Journey That Led You To Your Current Position: I have a Master’s in interior design and a certified diploma from the United States. I have been doing events for friends and family for several years, and everyone suggested I start my own business.
What Do You Like Best About What You Do? I absolutely love to play with different colors, styles, textures and materials.

My Business: Being a woman in this industry is very challenging. I am an officer of a company that performs a trade in which women make up only one percent of the workforce.
In all construction trades women make up only two percent of the workforce. I am normally the ONLY woman on the job sites (typically with a shovel or a screwdriver in hand), the only woman at meetings, the only woman in the certification classes, etc. I sport my Class 2 oversized green safety vest very well and wear it proudly representing all women.
My husband, Nicolas, and I own the oldest electrical contracting business on the Coast, opened in 1940. We specialize in traffic signals, street lights and lift stations, but there is nothing we cannot do.
