What does practicing medicine mean to you?
As veterinarians, we must be Jacks (or Jills) of all aspects of medicine. We are the family doctor, dentist, cardiologist and surgeon. I enjoy getting to work in all areas of practice and helping those, the animals, that are not capable of helping themselves.
What is the most unusual case you've ever had?
I once had a cat present for vaccines, but during the oral exam I found a large sewing needle lodged in its mouth. Don't worry, he survived!

What do you like to do when it's time to unwind?
Kayaking is my new hobby! I hope to have time to pursue it more.
What is something that's on your bucket list?
I would like to try parasailing as well as travel to Ireland and Greece.
