Chad and Steve Brady have been in the restaurant business for years, 25 to be exact, and it shows in stylish decor, sharp service, and a well thought out menu at Brady’s. Walk in the door, and you will feel at home.
I got to spend some time in the kitchen, and was equally impressed with the attention to detail of every plate that was served. This is a professional kitchen with professional standards. It is fair to say that you can expect to be well taken care of at Brady’s.
Chad and Steve know it takes more than a well-designed restaurant to
gain a loyal following, and they both insist that it is the way they treat their customers that makes a difference — it isn’t just an attitude you wear when you are at work. It is the real happiness you feel to see old friends, and new, walk into your restaurant.
The menu is well balanced, and offers a good variety. My preference

is for small plates. I just am not into
a plate piled high, but much prefer several small servings that give me a chance to gauge what the kitchen is really all about. There are seven starters at Brady’s, but if you add in the five different types of oysters served, there is a lot to choose from.
I’d go for the Causeway Crab Cakes, made with lump crab and a nice remoulade sauce. I also love oysters of all sort, and oysters are huge at Brady’s. For the best of all worlds try the Pelican Sampler, so that you can have a go at all three of the charbroiled oysters on the menu.
If you are in the mood for a steak, check out Steak Finley. It’s a six ounce grilled filet topped with shrimp, lump crab and Acadian sauce. There is also a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, and if that is what you are in the mood for, I’d go with the Hurricane Taco.
