JOY ESQUEDA
Joy is Vice President of Administrative & Executive Staffing and joined the Express team in 2014. She is the mother of three boys, Gabriel, Kai, and Cruz, and is married to Eddie Esqueda. Joy is originally from Pensacola and now resides
in D’iberville. She enjoys the challenge of matching top level candidates with organizations along the Gulf Coast. Prior to working at Express, Joy worked in
the Casino/Hospitality Industry for more than 15 years in various management roles. She prides herself on being a great mother and wife first and foremost. After family, her work is what she prides herself on. When not at the office, Joy enjoys spending time with her family watching her kids play sports, going on cruises or going to Disney World.
CARRIE BARFIELD
Carrie is an Administrative Staffing Consultant who came to Express in 2017 from the world of sales and marketing. After traveling and working across the country, Carrie realized that she missed the southern hospitality of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. As an Administrative Staffing Consultant, she is able to help make it easier for companies to find talented people. In less than a year, Carrie has already assisted our Administrative Division on becoming one of the top divisions in the country. When not spending time at the office, Carrie enjoys traveling, trying out new restaurants and going out to the islands #gettingcaughtintherain.
ALICE WILLIAMS
Alice Williams is an Administrative Recruiter and the newest member of our Express Team. Alice’s day consists of meeting people with various skillsets, discovering what they’re passionate about and placing them with companies looking for talent. She really relishes being able to meet new people, building relationships and helping others realize their dreams. Prior to joining Express, Alice worked in the multifamily industry for eight years. She resides in Ocean Springs with her husband, Josh, and their three children, Gavin, Gabby, and Griffin. When she’s not watching her kids playing sports, she enjoys creating memories with them and taking them to all the places along the Coast she enjoyed as a child.
CHRISTIAN MAY
Christian, AKA “Big Tuna” is from Pascagoula and is a 2009 graduate of Pascagoula High School where he excelled in the classroom and on the baseball field. After graduating,
he attended the University of Southern Mississippi to pursue a business degree. Christian has been an employee of Express Employment Professionals for two years heading up the Hospitality Department. In his free time Christian enjoys spending time with his daughter, Avalyn, buying and selling sports memorabilia, and working out. Christian says, “From the first day I walked into this office I knew it would be my last first day of work. I love working for Express because I get to work in an office where the word co-worker isn’t ever used but family is. Express puts me in a position to not only grow professionally but personally as well.”
