Local business leaders offer guidance and advice

The August issue of South Mississippi Living focuses on Business & Industry as well as Chambers & Main Streets. The bottom line is a focus on success and growing South Mississippi communities. Business leaders often reflect on advice from which they’ve benefitted and mentors who’ve helped along the way. They also can offer a few words of advice.
Butch Oustalet, owner of several Coast automobile dealerships, has been a businessman for 47 years. “The best advice anyone ever gave me was to stay humble and never quit going for your dreams.” he said.
His advice to others who are working toward business success is, “First, keep a positive attitude because that’s 80 percent of your success; second, you must also have a plan with options A, B or C; and third, never, never quit until you achieve your goals.”
