sually held the last weekend in March, the Spring Arts Festival couldn’t be skipped! The event has been rescheduled to August 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and August 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The
festival, now in its 27th year, will take place throughout the downtown area.
“Over 150 artists and growers will participate, featuring pieces in various media including paintings, pottery, jewelry, plants and herbs,” says Ocean Springs Chamber Executive Director Cynthia Dobbs Sutton. “Festival activities include artist demonstrations, live entertainment, engaging seminars and more.”
While the spring festival will now take place in summer, annual attendees are thrilled to see that the event will still take place this year. The Spring Arts Festival is a local favorite, and one that you won’t want to miss.
“This outdoor festival is set among the historic live oaks in downtown Ocean Springs,” Sutton continued. “Partnering with the local arts community, the festival emphasizes the relationship between community arts and nature.”
